Timothy Stanley's very personal war on science -

Very interesting approach to events affecting one! It's our judgement that we are not at the center of what exists.

The universe, that we see only temporarily, trundles merrily on after we are gone. It has it's own logic and that logic may not be what we understand.

We can choose to speculate as to the correct logic of the universe, but the longer time stretches the period over which we speculate conceivably the more speculative we shall be.

The problem is that space-time cannot be traversed equally in all directions the energy cost deciding which direction we see. Only those futures and places with low energy cost of viewing will actually become visible to us.
